The fact that he has is precisely what worries me.....

Vickers might’ve kept score down but it was his choice to leave, we didn’t push him out.
Might be true about JJ but sometimes you’ve got to take a risk, Nombe is known to MT so he knows him more than us, yes a year he’s broke out and why can’t that year carry on breaking out?
Hugill is a better player than Smith was but he’s not getting the help from midfield, he’ also a bad ass maybe some don't like that
because he'll be herding donkeys (Eaves & Hugill) as opposed to playing alongside a thoroughbred like Stansfield
Correct me if I'm wrong, but he hasn't scored this season? (and he's had reasonable minutes on he pitch)
And because it's a move up in level
Let's hope I'm wrong to be so sceptical....
Shirt 29 for Sam
Your right he hasn’t scored but got an assist
Let’s not forget other players on pitch and Hugill will be a great partner for him
Like I’ve said it’s a risk
JJ has been here years and never gets in side so won’t be on show to be priced at the same amount of money, scoring goals is what some see and want
Hmmm
That's what worries me
Nombe played with a strike partner who was close to double figures in assists - Hugill's career average is 1 per season
Washington or Kelly alongside, the lad might stand a chance - Hugill or Eaves, it could be a long season for Sam.....(and of course for us)
here's a stat - MT has now been in charge of 43 games (admittedly across all competitions)
He's won 8 (that's 18.6%) - if they'd all been league games, that would be 38 points from 43 games
Blackpool got 44 points from 46 games last season, Wigan got 45 (less 6 deducted), Reading got 50 (less 6 deducted)
MT's record is bottom of the league form....
lower win % than Redfearn, Gemmill/Mcgivern, Cusack, Kerr, Hunter or even Tommy Doc
Similar % to Harford and Bergara (remember how awful that was?)
MT didn't keep us up - the points that were on the board when he arrived are why we stayed up....
Last season weren't Bramall, Wes, Woody & Cam available for most MT games?
Yes, it was unlucky that Hall got injured and then Wright (Hall's replacement) got injured and then Morrison and then Blackett but luckily TS kept writing cheques and we ended up with a centre half museum collection.....
I don't think that justifies such a poor return from MT.....
