My partner's son tells me that West Ham are similar - the reason Moyes is delating signing an extension is apparently because, despite winning a trophy last season, there are a lot of calls for him to be sacked. They are still in Europe and not out of the chase for Europe in the league.Quote:

A number of people were saying that they wouldn't judge SM until after 10 games in charge. At 7 he's closing in on that now with 2 of the next 3 away, which might actually be helpful to him in the short term, he'll be under less pressure away. Fullarton didn't do too badly on the road, but his terrible home form finished him off after his 12th match in charge (his 5th at home).

Sutton away on the opening day was a wake up call and warning that we would have problems with conceding goals this season. Sutton at home yesterday was confirmation that something has to be done in the next six months to stop us conceding so many goals and having a season of struggle next year.
