Using his family as an excuse to jump ship in my opinion. How many managers have used that exci wonder?

The fact we've lost 10 games this season, far more than anyone around us isn't the way to stay in 5th. Teams below can push us out with their games in hand. The manor in which we lost most of those games was disconcerting to me. I'm not saying he wouldn't have pulled it around but that 2nd half against Tranmere was as bad as I've seen for many seasons.
Good luck to him but I think he'll find it very hard work with a club and fans expecting Premiership football tomorrow.
Yes I can see your concerns and under LW it tended to be win/lose not many draws.
I like the fact he attacked and went after all 3 points I’d rather us go for it then sit back being negative/passive doesn’t tend to bode well in pressure games as we saw with Ardley/IB in the play offs.
What's with everyone's obsession with national league managers? Seriously, aim higher
He didn’t use them as an excuse he said it was an offer he couldn’t turn down and it just so happens he lives closer to Swansea than Nottingham.
Not really sure what the guy is supposed to say he has been nothing but honest.
Swansea are a bigger club than us and are in a much better place than us right now.
If he fails he fails he will still get another job off the back of what he has done with us and will be financially compensated for it NOBODY is turning that down in a sport and he isn’t a NCFC fan just like our next coach is unlikely to be.
Good point. The ideology was similar but one made it work and one didn't. For me Luke Williams had the 'X factor' where you get players to believe in what they're doing and play to their maximum, and occasionally above and beyond. Sirrel had it, Allardyce, Warnock and Cotterill had it. The best example I can give of someone who didn't have it is Ian McParland. He came in on a rare tidal wave of goodwill, but it never happened. His ideas were good, but he never got them across to the players.
Didn't used to be, but certainly are now.
