Surely you realise there was far more to it than money ??? He took a massive drop to come here so I doubt that money is his motivation. Seeing the ongoing plan for the football club may well have triggered him though.

'Trev' has been right a few times before (Maynard, Jatta etc.) so maybe it's time for LW and some 'unfinished business' after all?

ETA: LW now in to 5/4

He has but he's also been wrong or what he's said hasn't materialised at least too. Either way that account is clearly someone who is either ITK or at least likes to think they are - They clearly have some level of intel from within the club.

He is going to need some help if it is him as he had a stronger squad whilst he was last here in L2.

He might end up being exposed as we dont have players to play his way at present.

I cant help thinking like ive said last 6 teams to go up automatic all had a manager with at least one promotion and played a basic game too, worth thinking about ?

From what I understood at the time we offered him 30% less as a weekly salary but Derby only offered one year.
We offered him 2 years so gave him a longer term security.
So yes, he took a big cut in weekly wage but that?s not the full picture.

On the flip side the league at the time was a lot stronger and our defence was a hell of a lot weaker. Add a Langstaff/McGoldrick/Ruben/Crowley match winning type player to our existing squad and we'll be up there.
