I think this ^^^ is quite poss, a reasonably accurate thought.

This is the way modern football works at many, many clubs around the world. It isn't a Notts/Reedtz thing. Our HC does have a say in recruitment. The January recruitment and losing Didzy are history now, not predictions of next season. We didn't lose Abbott either, he was on loan. The Notts HC job is an attractive proposition for any modern coach, IMHO.

And Crowley until January. Three players that will be extremely difficult to replace.

Well if these 4 signings turn out to be successful then the HOR deserves the freedom of the city cos he knows far more than any of us.Well i hope he does, he is the professional we are just amateur enthusiasts .

Agreed. Mind you, fans of his previous clubs in England don't have much good to say about him tbf. Not sure how he did in Turkey. Hopefully he's learned a lot and progressed his skills.

If this is the case then relegation is on the cards the squad at present is extremely weak and the 4 signings 3 of which are in recovery from injuries are not the most prolific additions.

I doubt we'll be that bad but on the previous page someone was suggesting we'll be in a battle for third with the likes of Chesterfield and Walsall.
I'd say at the moment it's more likely to be a race for 13th with Bromley and Barrow.

I wonder how our senior players are feeling?
I'm starting to think that the management team is already in place
As I said in a much earlier post I won't be putting any money on us getting promoted
Maybe I'm being too pessimistic and the advised change in the football dept. is a stroke of genius
But it would be nice to know exactly what those changes are
At least it would stop all the speculation

As I've already said on another thread ask yourself why David Mcgoldrick has left. Something must have seriously pissed him off for him to just leave.

He was one of our highest earners, we dropped his wages in the contract offer and he didn't find it acceptable so he's left. No big deal, I'd rather spend that money on two players that will play all the time
