Inspired by the 90's bands thread I thought I'd start one about the 80's. I know most of you are older than me so if I can remember the late 80's then surely you can! ;D
I'll start the ball rolling by mentioning Transvision Vamp and Fuzzbox. They were both quality and, it has to be said, were fronted by some fiiiiine ladies. B)
I thought you'd be more a Wham, Spandau Ballet and A Flock of Seagulls kind of guy Brocks

Wendy James was hot. I forgot about Fuzzbox until I heard one of their guitarists died of cancer a couple of years ago, good poppy songs and looked the part.
Not my type of music but Patsy Kensit did it for me in Eighth Wonder and also on the female side Sade was quite soulful and shaagable.
Made me think of No Limits (Jennie Powell). Us 80's ****agers with an interest in music wouldn't miss it.

Jennifer Rush - the Power Of Love. Latino loveliness back in the day - no one wore buck teeth quite like she did, even Madonna's gap-tooth was a poor second-place.
