Even a 6 month loan wouldn't have been cheap .
I'd suggest we would have been asked to service at least half of his £34k a week wages .
Got to ask yourself is he worth that ?
My own view is he isn't .

I’m not a fan of players going back to one of their old clubs, you’ll always judge them on how they performed the first time round and more often than not they don’t live up to it.

I never cease to be surprised how previousl skilful. quality players suddenly become crap if they leave the club or decide to sign for someone else.
