Refused to join Wendy when he left us.
    And now joining Blunts !!!
    Obviously gone native.
But would anyone here want him ?
    I know I wouldn’t.
    He’s passed his best.
It would be like getting rid of one slow left footer - only to sign another one.
We can do better than Hourihane these days.

Completely out of our wage structure as a signing .

Even a 6 month loan wouldn't have been cheap .

I'd suggest we would have been asked to service at least half of his £34k a week wages .

Got to ask yourself is he worth that ?

My own view is he isn't .

Good player no doubt but way too much money for a loan in my opinion .

Got to ask yourself - which of the current middle 4 would he replace ?
Only job for him would be to come on late in the game to provide a bit of guidance.
Which was needed in games such as QPR.

Based on what I saw in the playoffs not for me now.
We still need a midfield General in the middle of the park.

I’m not a fan of players going back to one of their old clubs, you’ll always judge them on how they performed the first time round and more often than not they don’t live up to it.

I free with Hammil. I was only saying to a mate last night I’d have loved to have seen him in this present side, all this pressing would have been right up his street.

I never cease to be surprised how previousl skilful. quality players suddenly become crap if they leave the club or decide to sign for someone else.

"Didn't want him. He wo crap anyway".
