TS time to act

A new thread to make the discussion about should he go or stay not be lost in the Matchday Thread.

The away form, performances and MTs decisions during so many of these games is beyond a joke, you can see it in the faces of the staff in the dugout and the body language of the players, they know MT is a deadman walking. I was in two minds whether he should get more games and see what happens up to the middle of December, but tht today was like watching a Mike Bassett team. So TS here is the details for Gold taxis in Rotherham, time to call MT a taxi

No 3 weeks messing about recruiting, it hasn't worked in the past get an experienced bloke in on a 1.5 season contract quickly.

Plenty o managers about looking for work atm.

We would end up with someone like morrison or pelts who are actually part of the problem.

Needs a fresh face who can clear out the dross and get some proper training drills in that make us organised and fit if nowt else. We have to become harder to beat.

I agree, fitness is key going forward and that comes from training and more balance between youth and experience. A while back I posted a research study that was published recently about hamstring injuries and it showed that the coaching and training was a big factor in the number of hamstring injuries, it isn't just bad luck.

I've watched about 4-5 games this week (not including ours) and I've counted 7 players from those games who have gone off/are now out due to hamstring injuries so it's definitely not just an RUFC thing despite what many of the usual suspects would have us believe.

Quite possible its a training drill or two that's been adopted on the coaching course qualifications.....which would explain why and how these are happening.

Players haven't genetically become more susceptible to hamstrings. Tactically things haven't changed and it's not like they've been going in the "extra" extra time.

Nobody is saying it is just a Rotherham thing, what I am saying is the research carried out on the subject identifies the coahing and training as big factors, so the question is what have the club done to address the risk especially with a squad of aging players? Please don't say you are sure they have done all they can, because you don't know they have and I don't know they haven't, it is just a question. What i will bet you is if we change the management and we start to win a few matches I bet a few of these injured players will recover quicker and be ready to play.

Change the manager and everything will be ok .manager gets it in the neck but the chairman get a free ride .

What can be done while January? A struggling side should be playing 4-5-1 but tell me wide players we've got who'll track back to assist full backs? Summer transfer window * us up. What could a new manager do now there's no players in squad to improve how we're playing. Morrison Hall should do decent thing & retire waste of time being here.

I am not saying that either, I think that TS makes mistakes no U21 squad and shocking player asset management are two things I think he gets wrong. But come on, at the moment MT management is very very poor even with the constraints we are under.

What i dont understand is that we can be very competitive at home but not at all away. That is down to team tactics surely. We can compete but for some reason this goes out of the wiundow at away games where we just appear to lack any bite and fight.

Players we must play in as many games as we can are Viktor, odoffin. georgie, nombe. ollie beyond that we play playeys who earn the chuffin shirt.
