Call me suspicious though, The police very quickly announced it was a 53-year-old white, British male.
What a pity they weren't this quick to pass information along following the Southport outrage.

Stupid and tasteless post. How about, the police just wanted to calm things down as quickly as possible by reassuring people that there was no element of ‘terrorism’ before people like you - or at least those you defend - could start making bogus claims and stirring stuff up.
They can’t do right for doing wrong in your world can they?
Seems to me, from what little we know, that the police acted very properly and that you’re just trying to make political capital out of a tragic event…again!

Except that previously the practice has always been to divulge minimal information about an alleged perpetrator irrespective of their ethnicity, usually just gender and age. So unless your a conspiracy theorist, prejudiced or looking to stir up racial hatred there is no "acid test"! Plus, and I get this might be a bit sophisticated for you to understand, there may be valid reasons in certain cases why the ethnicity of a person isn't divulged.Quote:
