Pre-competition reasons why England will come home early from the Euros (again)

    1) Rooney will be fitted into the team no matter what.
    2) Wales will beat England
    3) Despite what seems like a decade of preparation, Roy still does not know his best team or formation
    4) Gareth Bale massacres England single-footed
    5) England retreat into classic tournament mode of unadventurous football characterised by the selection of Milner.
    6) Coleman completely outmanoeuvres Hodgson
    7) Roy is distracted by a nasty boil on his jaw at the exact point he likes to rub to give the impression that he knows what's occurring.
    8) Wales win Euro 2016
    9) Roy insists England do not need to practice penalties
    10) Coleman insists that Wales practice penalties
    11) Roy perseveres with Kane as the dead-ball taker - despite every pundit on TV telling him this is a mistake.
    12) Wales put square pegs in square holes.
    13) Roy reveals two thirds of his squad are carrying life-threatening injuries
    14) Wales players will play even with broken legs (like Ledley) for the honour of representing their country
    15) England players have had a hard, long season and are knackered.
    16) Wales players have had an even longer season - as most play in lower leagues
    17) Too many England players have a Southampton connection. Even their managers know they are losers

Enjoy the debacle and, remember, you heard the excuses here first!

I always expect England to lose every important match they play so am rarely disappointed. Plus I don't care who wins the Euros.

It was so like watching Pompey throw away a lead in time added on, I thought PC was the gaffer instead of Woy. Even worse news, Corky is on the injured list and is out of the squad injured.

At last worked out how to post again on this site. Seems not many others have!
    1) Rooney played exceptionally.
    2) We fell apart when he went off.
    3) Milner did absolutely nothing except fall over, give the ball away and not close down the guy who centered for the goal
    4) It was Pompey 2015-16 revisited.
    5) Europe must hope Brexit happens so we stay on our island and stop causing trouble elsewhere every two years (if we qualify). To be fair the hoolies seem to be being targeted by all and sundry.
    6) Thought the team played exceptionally well for 45 mins and should have gone in 3 up if it wasn't for bad finishing and two incredible point blank saves by their goalie.
    7) Hey ho.
    8) Play up Pompey.
    9) How are you all?
    10)

Never really surprised or bothered about how England get on.......always seems to be the same old story........promise so much and then let the whole nation down......couldn't help thinking the Russian game was like watching Pompey and not just for the late equaliser! Possession and plenty of goal scoring chances.....only one taken, late leveller! Ah well roll on the Welsh......got to get better surely!

I for one am fine thanks, ST renewed and looking forward to seeing our fixtures for the forthcoming season. Corky is on the injured list so he may have to limp to the kettle when he switches it on next month. Daz for one hasn't posted yet but he and I keep in touch, he tells me how his cricket matches are rained off up there in Cumbria.

Seen all the games so far and not too impressed.
Germany look good up front and in midfield but iffy at the back. Classy keeper though.
England poor up front and at the back. OK'ish in midfield.
France don't look good enough to be favourites.
The rest average at international level.

As we speak I am researching my lineage to see if there is any Welsh in me.
Got a bit of French blood from William the Conquerers days
    Living in Spain.
Went to Rome for a holiday once.

So slight chance I might be on the winning side.
