O/t Holidays

Any of you lads got any holidays to come?...Millavanilla off to his van in Ingoldmills I know and Magic got a tent in his back yard but any interesting hols left?

I'm off to the Azores on a cruise in September and Carribean pre Christmas.

Recently been on the refurbished Queen Victoria..Very nice but at 57 I was a juvenile......Clients were like the walking dead..well motorised chair dead.

It was like the dodgems at meal times with motorised chairs zooming around with oldsters with more tubes coming out of them than someone on ITU!

How do they get insurance?

Every stop there were a line of ambulances and hearses taking off passengers.

It was worse than The Moorgate Wing!

Nowhere! My wife has been ill and can't fly so we had to cancel last years holidays and nothing booked this year or probably next year.

And I'd rather stay home than holiday in Britain.

Funny thing is Kempo there are quite a lot of folk who love their camping, caravans and motor homes which seem to becoming very popular of late. Each to their own as they say and if it makes them happy then good luck to them.

Myself, I have a couple of hols left.... cruising the med in August and Tenerife in November as a warm up in the sun away from the miserable dark mornings and dark early evenings.

Carrying a week over after the Xmas period so
Don't know where that will take me.

Definitely back on my road trips in the States next year as that as seen a halt over the last two years due to other family/ friends holidays.

Looking to tick off a few more states towards completing the 50, up to 27 so far.

Got 11 nights in Gran Canaria booked for September.
Also did Gran Canaria earlier in the year, and Cyprus in June.
Now looking for a holiday around Jan/Feb for next year.
Was going to do Dawlish instead of the Gran Canaria holiday, but the weather in Canary Islands in September will be gorgeous, not guaranteed that in Dawlish at that time of year though.

Loyal sorry to hear the good lady has not been feeling well. Not a good feeling when you've booked something and have to cancel. Trust she gets well soon.
