    Joselu's insight

If you look at the Newcastle United Mad -Footymad Message Board you will see a news item headed:

Joselu Says He Knows How To Beat West Ham

I give below a direct quote from this item:

' We need to stay calm in the game and score more goals than West Ham and win the game.'

So there you have it. The insight we've been lacking. If you score more goals than the opposing team you win the game. I hope Rafa explains this to the squad before the match.

What's baffling me is what happens if the opposing team score more goals than Newcastle? Or if they both score the same number of goals? Anyway I'm sure that Joselu has worked this out.

In reply to Zippity, maybe I am too cynical. But these long screeds by NUFC players seem pointless to me. Do your talking on the pitch. As Jackie Milburn put it: 'Deeds Not Words.' If we get beat these long screeds only make the player look daft.

No, i agree, mate. Whenever we lose (so all the bloody time at the minute!) there's some poor sap wheeled out to say 'we pick ourselves up and go again' or 'we've got to stick together' or other meaningless platitudes. I'd rather they either said 'sorry, we're shit, we know we have to do better' or they just said nowt at all.
