    The cost of Chelsea.

Just listened to a discussion on radio LBC where the guest was a university sports accountant dissecting the Chelski investments over the years.

He claimed the wage bill has been subsidised by an average of £900,000 per week over the past 20 years. That amounts to more than a cool £900,000,000 over that time.

Their current wage bill is over £333M for the year. And the F.A. haven't lifted a finger to control it.

Take time to understand why the rouble is so high. Putin has been manipulating its value through a series of measures.

And don't fall for populist rubbish. "The mainstream media" has a lot wrong with it but don't fall for the trap of attacking it.

Abramovich it's just forcing the government's hands after being sanctioned.

So much of his assets have been frozen that this is predictable. Problem is.... they'll seize the repayment too but this is after the damage would have been done.

Be really interesting to see what happens.

I saw that Roman is trying to get some of his money back and the Govt. are obviously not going to let that happen but if Chelsea's license runs out then they fold as a club. . . abd the license runs out at end of May.
