"Less than 150 Israel fans are thought to have made the trip to France"

Less than 150 0f them and all that trouble. Like I keep saying, 'Don't feck with Israel'.

The French had 4000 gendarmes deployed to keep 400 Israeli footy hooligans safe. Antisemitic? You are having a laugh mate.

Notice the anti-semitic nonsense in the headline. Why?

It is a little over three weeks since I was in Amsterdam, walking its beautiful canal side streets and visiting the Anne Frank house. You cannot but feel the horror of what was done to the Jewish inhabitants of Amsterdam during World War 2. Those streets are now being turned ugly again with anti-semitism and it has been unleashed by the conflict in the Middle East. It matters not where you stand on the Israel-Palestine conflict (and there are several different viewpoints on this board) but undoubtedly anti-semitism is on the rise and not just on the streets of Amsterdam but in many other cities here in the UK and abroad.

Perhaps the Israelis should stop the indiscriminate bombing and killing of women and kids and the Muslim Brotherhood might not get so upset when the Jews are attacking Muslim taxi drivers and tearing down Palestinian flags. Desecrating a truly wonderful city with anti-Palestinian songs and screaming incendiary anti-Arab language won't help either.

Conflating football hooligans with anti-Semitism is the tool of fools.

We have over 4 million Muslims living in the UK who maybe just as angry as I am about the dispossession and slaughter of Palestinian Muslim Arabs in Gaza and on the West Bank. This is not anti-Semitism, it's a cry for all of humanity to put an end to the suffering of the indigenous inhabitants of the Holy Land. Jews and all.
