Last seasons kits were pretty good, especially the 3rd kit that unfortunately was limited edition.
I saw a classic Welsh kit from 1979. All red with double yellow lines running from the arm pit to the chest and then down vertically to the bottom of the shorts.
This would look great in all white with black stripes.
I've heard a rumour that it will feature at least two colours in striped pattern for the home kit
If we'd have signed the Admiral deal 5 years earlier, we might have had something like this.......
Though seeing that Sheffield United still had stripes when they were with Admiral around that time, we probably would have had a similar kit to them.
Im being old school here but please can we for once have normal stripes, and on the back too. Sunderland among others make it work, why oh why do we have a plain white back. In my opinion it ruins it. It doesnt really matter if its thick stripes, though i prefer the older pre adidas style. Weve had some crackers over the years, Puma have dealt us some poor ones. Overall i dont see Juve messing with the stripes like we do, although next seasons is dodgy. They do tend to stick to stripes, not pins or white chest for example.
I think this season's home kit is the best we've had for many years. My favourite colour is black, so maybe I'm biased towards a kit with so much black in it, but I think it looks really stylish.
Regarding the stripes on the back, the problem used to be that numbers (and now names) didn't show up very well on a stripey background, but you can get round that by having a panel rather than eliminating the stripes entirely.
This years is my least favourite for a long time, I agree with isagrandoldteam
I agree with itsagrandoldteam too; black and white stripes, front and back with a panel for the number.
Last season's orange away kit looked really good to me, but it probably won't be an option for the coming season. I just hope we can steer clear of any kind of pink, lilac or fluorescent lime.
