    One for the over 60's - any ideas ?

    Any ideas who this player is - probably from late 50's?

    I'm not quite 60 yet, and I don't recognise the player, but I think that bit of the ground later became the brick building which housed the ticket office and the turnstiles to the main stand... so photo could have been earlier than the late 50s?

    Just checked Millmoor Personalities book - could be Brian Jackson. Signed as a part-time professional in 1954, made his first team debut in 1956. As a young kid , I saw him play, but (if it is him) he had changed his hairstyle a bit by then

    A few people on facebook said its Pete Madden and some said it was Albert Bennett, i didnt think it was either, agree with some of you it looks more like Brian Jackson but not sure.

    Could be Albert Bennett but I don't think it looks anything like Pete Madden

    I'm way too young to remember those days so all I have to go on is the Rotherham Utd players book.
    I'd go with Albert Bennett.

    Same here, Scud. 10 years before I was born. Just by looking at the 3 photos I'd also say it's Albert Bennett.
