    Gordon on penalties

Gordon on penalties never sat right with me, he bullied his way on to them at the start of the season. Gordon has a big fu(king ego.

Yep bit of a d*ck for sure.

Hasn't missed a penalty since that one at Everton, which, he shouldn't have taken.

Imagine if it was Shearer, no way anyone is getting that ball regardless of whether Big Al would have scored 5 or 7 in the match already.

Tripps should have pulled rank and made him give the ball to Volt for that second penalty against Quarabag.

The thing is we need to win matches. Gordon whether you like or loath is doing fine on pens. Whether he should be a number 9 is more debatable. Volty, has been off the game until very recently so if you're the manger and want to secure a win, the bigger the better, you go for what works. If it isn't broke don't fix it

Is that 6 successful pens in a row for Gordon?

Good on him - if Howe has designated him the penalty taker, then follow the gaffers orders.

And that?s what I want to see from a forward - ruthless desire, it?s never enough and wanting more.

The rest of the squad show follow that example.

If Voltemade wants his goals, then get in the box and go get them mate

It wasn't long ago Gordon was being reviled on here, Eddie bought Nick to be his number 1 striker up front then basically put him in midfield and now isn't happy with his play ??
