Thread: Exit in January for Brownhill?

    Exit in January for Brownhill?

Social media rumours suggest Fulham, Wet Spam & Dirty Weeds all want to take Josh off our hands in January.

    Stick or twist?

If Josh Brownhill has not signed a new contract by January, then I would sell him to the highest bidder. We have lost too much in keeping hold of player who do not want to be here.

Let him go. Get someone in to replace him in January. Should be doing better than he has done

If we can get 8 million plus for him he goes, if not he stays. I can't see us replacing him with any better, and it would probably be good bye to a top 2 finsh

We have Massengo, Laurent, Cullen, Mejbri, Sarmiento, Koleosho, & when fit Benson, Redmond, Ramsey & Tresor who can spread across the middle of the park, surely ?5 or 6 million is better than nowt.

Absolutely agree with that though a top 2 finish may hinge to a greater degree on sorting out our striker problem. Brownhill has usually provided his fair share of goals.

He?s like marmite Brownhill isn?t he , I?m in the camp of I like him but I feel he?s underachieved the last few years and in fairness to him he?s been a decent servant to Burnley, and setting that aside this is his last chance at a big move and financial security.

I posted a couple of weeks back that we have a glut of similar players and whilst Brownhill scores goals I think if we had offers in January and he?s happy to go I?d take the money and re invest in the obvious would be centre forward but a full back is required as well I feel

So for me if he?s going ill wish him well and look forward to watching him play on tv.

He can?t go to Leeds though under any circumstances

Can't fault Brownhill's performance over the years. We have Laurent and Hannibal sitting around so maybe it's time. Good luck to him,BFC
    should wish him well
