    Michael Appleton

Not saying I want him as our next Manager but fair do’s great half time talk and change of formation today.

Sunderland thrashed Lincoln first half but Managers changes meant totally different game second half and Lincoln deservedly through to Play off finals. Good luck to them against Blackpool.

Palmer played well in goal and unlike Johnstone comes off his line.

Rather Blackpool win for no other reason than it could be a fun weekend going up there!

    Spot on.

I love Blackpool away even though I got as cold and wet as I’ve ever been at a match that year Oliver sent off Ibanez and Jara and our 9 men lost 1-2 and played Blackpool off the park.

I think a meet up and an overnight stay is in order for a few of us mate!?

Given the financial resources at his disposal compared to much of the division and the injuries they've sustained over the course of the season, Appleton's done a very good job getting them into the top six. Let alone the final. Sunderland were the better side in the first half but his half time substitutions turned the game back in Lincoln's favour. Fair play to him.

Sunderland are a poor team though and my mate is a season ticket holder there and said the same plus Blackpool will beat Lincoln with little problem.

For play to Appleton but a big NO from me as rather have Pulis back than him - at least he knows the championship

    Sunderland are a poor team:
They lost 9 of their 46 league games. We lost 21, soon to be 22 and won 5. I wish we were as bad as Sunderland!

No way would I want Pulis back. Even when our Pulis team was winning I was longing for the ref to blow the final whistle to bring the boredom to an end. I also remember going to Bournemouth and the football was terrible, our fans chanting ‘ your football is ******* ****’ to Pulis.
