O/T Grandaughter Attacked by a Dog While Walking her Own Dog

Yesterday my Grandaughter & her mother were walking their dogs in Normanton,
where they live.
A black labrador came to attack Grandaughters dog, so she picked her own dog up,
& turned away from the dog, the black labrador bit her taking a right chunk out of her
arm, which I have seen pictures of.
Grandaughter went to hospital for treatment, they have cleaned the wound, but due
to the large piece bit out of her arm, she will need a operation.
Grandaughter had to be at the hospital this morning for 7.30 for the operation.

The incident reported to the police, who contacted the dog wardens, she did not see
anyone walking with the black labrador.
Having had labradors in the past, I have never found them vicious.

My Grandaughter is 22 years of age, this her second scrape with danger, she was in
the crowd at the Manchester arena bombing with her mother, thankfully they both
came out of that unscathed.
