Sky Crime tomorrow at 9 pm. I have a strong interest in this as my brother produced a TV programme on it years ago and has written a book (unpublished). There have been some more recent programmes, most recently on BBC Wales. I have read everything there is to read on the murder, but still do not know whether Morris (see below) was guilty. I would be interested in hearing the points of view of others.

In June 1999, three generations of one family were brutally killed in a quiet suburban street in the small village of Clydach, South Wales.

The murderer bludgeoned Mandy Power, 34, to death in her home on Kelvin Road.

The intruder also murdered Mandy’s daughters Katie, 10, and Emily, eight.

He then killed 80-year-old grandmother Doris Dawson.

David Morris was tried twice and convicted. He died last year still protesting his innocence.

Murder in the Valleys is a four part true crime series.

Over the four episodes, Murder in the Valleys tells the story behind the biggest murder investigation in Welsh history.

It also investigates the enduring repercussions of the crime.
