A few underachieving sides in the nineties but always one of the countries and the world's top sides for the last fifty odd years.
Never had the glamour of the United's, Arsenal's, Spurs and lately Chelsea's and City's, but absolute giants in comparison.
You have to admire their achievements.
Keep the game simple, lots of hard working player's full of ability, and a never say die attitude. The second leg win over Barca in the Champions League a couple of seasons ago epitomised the fantastic team spirit.
If only our bunch showed that attitude.
