    Liverpool

The greatest club English football has ever produced. Built on success over the years, played a simple and effective game to win trophies like they are going out of fashion. A few underachieving sides in the nineties but always one of the countries and the world's top sides for the last fifty odd years.
Never had the glamour of the United's, Arsenal's, Spurs and lately Chelsea's and City's, but absolute giants in comparison.
You have to admire their achievements.
Keep the game simple, lots of hard working player's full of ability, and a never say die attitude. The second leg win over Barca in the Champions League a couple of seasons ago epitomised the fantastic team spirit.
If only our bunch showed that attitude.

Agree with much of that! Would love to see them beat Man City to win Prem. and beat Chelski in the FA Cup too. I know Klopp can be seen as a bit of a marmite character by some but I quite like the guy and no denying his ability or passion. Liverpool are playing some lovely football at the moment as well...sadly something we can only dream of😥

Last night was the only match I have watched for it’s entirety last night.

Compelling side to watch are Liverpool, the way they hunt in packs and that Salah and Mane and Diaz work back is a lesson for every player.

Ian Rush was very much in this mould as was our own Lee Hughes.

I’m not a fan of Scouse fans and their blame culture but as far a clubs go Liverpool are my favourite “other club”.

Kevin Keegan was my first football hero was I was 10 and I followed both Albion and Liverpool as a nipper as we were in separate divisions at the time.

Always a Liverpool fan in a big match.

Man Utd were a disgrace last night.

I was a Leeds and Albion fan because of one John Giles.

But always enjoyed Liverpool football as they were regarded as an Irish team in English league over here.
Funnily enough so we're Albion...they had a right load of Irish players in their team.

Liverpool in the 80's and for a few years Everton were clubs I had a fondness for - they were brilliant teams full of good players who worked hard for each other. The Arsenal side with Bergkamp,Overmars et al along with the United side at the start of their dominance were also a joy to watch - great days.

I am pleased to read some of the above. I have always had a spot for Liverpool and I like Klopp. I have never said as much on here as I did not fancy getting abused. They presently have some really talented footballers but last Thiago was sublime.

Look at the bond between Klopp and his players - it radiates warmth and respect! There is zero bond between our ill disciplined and useless players towards Bruce!

Most our players need to do one!!!

I really wish people still were guided by a moral compass instead of greed....things would be so much better.......
