O/T Totally off topic

Shortly after I met my other half she wanted a Vauxhall Tigra. I found her one, a 99 reg three year old 9000 miles mint Tigra, and I bought it for her. It is now no more.

Now, both being more sensible, she drives an Astra and I drive an Insignia, which I am not a fan of. So I thought that I would buy a frippery. 20 Years old Audi TT reg top. 79000 miles, FSH, recent cambelt change, mint beige leather interior. I worked in the motor trsde for many years, had a good chat with the selling dealer, and in return he gave me the 50 miles delivery charge for free.

I dropped it on her lap last friday..It was raining so I suggested that I drive it first, I had no chance. A quick burn down a few leafy country roads in Es*** and a few junctions around the M25.

It was intended for a bit of fun in spring/summer next year, but she's been to work in it every day over the Dartford bridge. She tells me that everyone came out of work on the first day to look at it. It's a classic that went from concept to production within three years. Always fancied one, but I've lost it to my other half. Glum smiley
