When we were promoted from the NL we saw 2.87 goals per game (2.34 for us, 0.53 against), last season we saw an incredible 4.04 goals per game (2.22 for us, 1.82 against), this season so far we have seen 2.05 goals per game (1.31 for us, 0.74 against). I will be there as long as I'm physically capable, but many of the newer fans we've attracted over the last couple of seasons won't. I think they want to see exciting football and goals, and that's been a rarity under Maynard. Attendances have stood up fairly well so far mainly due to us being around the promotion places, but I can't see them being sustained if we carry on producing more of the same.
