How about you understand how a public forum works.

We are not going to do it on Saturday, we have not be "Doing it " for weeks now. We have another year in League two ahead of us next year, we had an opportunity to progress but because we have a garbage manager playing boring predictable football we are going nowhere.

People like you always makes me wonder what caused you to be so detached from reality that you will accept any garbage put before you and claim you are being treated.

Moron! The difference between ThaiPie (an optimist) and you (pessimist) is Thai is saying we CAN do it. I.e.it’s possible despite us being distinct second favourites. You’re saying we WON’T do it, a certainty in your mind. So good you can predict the future. You may be right and no doubt will be on here gloating if you are. I also know you’ll disappear back into your dark depressing hole if you’re wrong. So I’d much rather stay in Thai’s camp and go into Saturday with optimism as we’ve everything to gain and nothing at all to lose. I hope you’re able to enjoy our victory IF we overcome the odds and manage to win. See you at Wembley?

Reality is knocking so hard it is almost kicking the door in.

We have been garbage for months and he has been going on about how great we are. There is a difference between being optimistic and delusional. We could do it if it wasn't for all the things going against us like, the manager, the players, the tactics, the lack of effort the players have put in since xmas and lastly a desire from the players to try.

It's not about gloating, I will be upset when we lose; if we win, which I can't see happening i will be overjoyed. The difference is I can see when something is wrong and is not working and will call for changes. It seems that Thaipie is happy with any sh it is he served up.

What is your reason for optimism?

I just hope the brothers get rid and replace, quickly, in time for a new manager to have a full, preseason with whoeever we find ourselves with on the books.

    Hello Marcus Cole,

You're correct, I'm not really sure how a public forum works, is that your real name?

You may be correct in saying we haven't been 'doing it" for weeks. Walsall haven't been doing it for months. But, here's what I like about football. One goal on Saturday. We've got a chance.

If we score, I'll name check you, and shout "Marcus Cole"

I can see Morias now, darting between their huge defenders legs, one two-ing with Whitaker before slipping the ball to Traore to score.
Then Grant making up for last Saturday getting on the end of a Jodi cross after he finally recovers his form.

And if we play Walsall next week we will win.

    Yeah why not?.im in!

Come on Notts, it certainly isnt over yet, and luck has to balance itself out at some point. Let?s get Morias in the mix and just go for the bloody win.

I know I predicted a loss in the prediction thread but the way the game ended just had me thinking it may just give us a little more spite going into the return leg, I think we will be fired up!

Come on Notts, this is ours!

We've a reasonable chance of winning, despite The Gloomsters' protests to the contrary. Nobody knows the result yet, optimist or pessimist, and it's much more fun being an optimist than spending life constantly expecting, if not secretly hoping for, the worst, simply in order to feel they were 'right'.

Having said that, I'll still defend to the end The Gloomsters' right to be negative, miserable b*stards - on their many other threads.

Probably you ought to be defending that right on this one too. Calling someone moron is out of order. Leave that to the likes of Ray Trew.
