    Congratulations to Oldham Athletic

Welcome back to the EFL. After what was a dramatic ending in extra time, they are firmly back in League 2.

Recall many a battle with them over the years, one in particular when King Ronnie and Brecks managed them. It was an away game for us which we won 0 v 1. Our fans couldn't resist it chanting, 'Ronnie Ronnie what's the score....Ronnie what's the score?'

To his credit he smiled and warmly applauded us back.

I was at Oldham back in the 80s when we won 0-3 (I think).

I remember Ronnie heading the ball out of the keeper's hands on the edge of the box and slotting the ball home and, best of all, the ref saw nothing wrong with it!

Was there where our fans singing win away? Tight fit at that time had been in the charts with the lion sleeps tonight.

Seem to recall that was our ninth successive league win. Great day out that was.

    Nice to see them back.

A bit more information on that little run.
Seasman got two & Ronnie got the other in the win at Oldham.
