So much for Our manager saying joining Oldham was like being at Real Madrid compared to Rotherham!
Problems at Oldham Athletic, with the fans not happy with the owner of the club.
I posted Saturday about fans protesting during the game, by coming onto the
pitch.
Both Millertop & Flourbasher posted about the issues, on the Derby County
posting.
After Saturdays protest, the club as made a statement.
The club announce the suspension of season ticket sales, & match day sales,
for the next two games.
The Latics say, their decision was taken following meetings with local
Authorities, including Greater Manchester police, in light of recent protests,
& the plan for future protests against the clubs ownership.
Two home games have been disrupted by fans action, with tennis balls thrown
onto the pitch, forcing the Carabao cup game with Accrington Stanley, to be
halted in the 5th minute.
While a pitch invasion in the 2nd half of Saturdays defeat to Barrow, at
Boundary Park caused both teams to temporarily leave the field of play.
Oldham Athletic are away at Leyton Orient this Saturday, only one ticket
per season ticket holder, & tickets restricted to season ticket holders.

Their fans deserve better than what's being served up to them at the moment both on and off the pitch.
I'm sure the protests are the culmination of months, if not years, of frustration
