Michael Fallon and the 'Sleazy 36'

Michael Fallon resigns, or jumped before he was pushed, however you'd like to look at it.

Apparently there is a list of 36 Tory MPs on a 'Sleazy 36' list. The Tories themselves compiled this list and it was leaked. Seriously, this Govt is beyond incompetent.

Some of the acts on this list are unbelievable, including one MP whereby a video exists of three men urinating on him. Inappropriate behavior, ***ual assaults, using male and female prostitutes. Extra marital affairs and impregnating mistresses. You might say all of this is behind closed doors but if you're making public decisions, there are grounds for ridicule and blackmail amongst other things. And these are people who do this in jobs and homes paid for by taxpayer money.

Boris Johnson makes the list after signing an NDA with a female researcher. God only knows what he did with her.

If all this comes to light, it has the capacity to bring down an already weak and faltering government. Fingers crossed!

Fallon was also involved in the expense scandal and had to pay back £8k.
That's 2 sackable offences in any other job, but not in Westminster your best mate dodgy dave gets him a knighthood.

    Horrible disgusting people.

It's probably the fault of the previous Labour government.

God help us if Corbyn gets in.

If anyone thinks this will only apply to one party then you're deluded. Just as with the expenses scandal, this will apply across the entire house regardless of your political association. The Tories are a mostly useless party at the moment but the problem is, we'll get Corbyn. The feckless and wasters will be rewarded and big business and anyone with ambition will be derided as the enemy. Not a great state is it British politics?

Agree that it probably applies across other parties, but other parties haven't compiled a list on their own MPs and then released it to the Press. Its just pure incompetence.

Slightly off-track here, but I've never understood what motivates someone to become a Tory MP.
It's easy to understand that someone who wants to fight - and keep the fight - for a more equal society, should join the Labour movement. But Conservative people in their early 20s (say) spurred on by the thought of making rich people richer?? These people (like Boris Johnson, say) give up the benefits of joining the family business......for a £70k pa salary, which might not last longer than 5 years (till the next Election - then they're out of work).
No matter how much I think of it, I can only think they're motivated solely by Power.

Who'd have thought that the Two Ronnies were so far ahead of their time when in 1979 they created a 6 part comedy sketch called 'The Worm That Turned' which was a terrifying tale of England in the near future where women have taken over. And so it comes to pass.
