He's a good League 1 manager but can he do it in the Championship?
The jury is still out.
He will want to prove he can and if he feels like he can't do that at Rotherham then he will leave.
A happy clappy bit of fluff article
I've been hard on PW. Unfairly hard. But he says himself he's never been approached by another club and I have never heard him mentioned when vacancies have arisen. If he wins L1 this season that might change?
It may happen for a short time within our budget but I fear you're probably right. At best it would be a fight for survival in the championship with many fans quickly forgetting the good times and being on his back again. I think as said above, given better resources there's no reason why Warney couldn't manage a successful championship team and wouldn't blame him if he left for this whilst on the back of the good times. He deserves it. But hope he stays with us for many more years on the rollercoaster. Many, many years of following the millers have not been fun. These last few years under him and Tony at the NYS have been great, good times and bad. UTM
Tbh if mark robins isn't getting poached for jobs. There's no chance of warne. He's prob achieved more in his time as a manager. And at a higher level
