    O/T:- Trump

I suppose it was inevitable that someone would try to assassinate Donald Trump. Are we not surprised with the state of the gun laws in the States.

It is hard not to see the irony in the assassination attempt. And then Biden comes out with some nonsense about this being the first time it has happened to a president. He really is beyond help or has major amnesia. You reap what you sow USA.

He has to have some significant illness? The number of things he has said in the build to becoming/ and whilst president is beyond comprehension for what is the most important role in the world. It’s like he has a make a wish that’s been granted

Money talks. The Yanks are good at giving out & preaching. Yet, all they can put up for the last 2 elections are a nutter & a geriatric, like you say, for the top job in the World.

Unfortunately we all reap what they sow (directly or indirectly) and will do so in spades if Trump gets back in and this attempt will only strengthen his hand (especially his raised "They will not beat us" fist as he was escorted away).

By surviving that and getting some great media shots in the process he is now basically an American hero and will win with ease. Joe Biden needs to pack his bags. You almost have to wonder if it was staged it's so surreal.

I've not seen those are the words he used, but these come close:

“We cannot allow this to be happening,” Biden said. “The idea that there’s violence in America like this is just unheard of."

Both Biden and Trump have used pretty alarming language in their campaigns.

Yes I got them slightly wrong but his tone and general comments are identical. Unheard of. Trump, Reagan, JFK....
