Both Biden and Trump have used pretty alarming language in their campaigns.
Yes I got them slightly wrong but his tone and general comments are identical. Unheard of. Trump, Reagan, JFK....

don’t know why you put the term ‘tolerant progressive’ into quote marks, I’ve never seen or heard a single person call themselves that, certainly not me. . I’m very intolerant of the convicted criminal, self confessed *** offender and gun rights defender Donald Trump.

When stuff like this happens people like you sanctimoniously clutch their pearls at how awful it is that everyone can’t just extend the hand of sympathy to the likes of Trump that he’s never extended to anyone else. He said about Hilary Clinton ‘If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know’.

I’m sure you must have been horrified when he said that. Or maybe not.

Someone asked Trump if he'd like a beer?
He said no, I've got one ear 🤣

There’s even a recent allegation from sources in the state department that Hillary Clinton asked of Julian Assange, ‘can’t we just drone him already’?

It's hard to see how this could have been set up, especially considering the loss of life, but there are serious question marks over the secret service. Several members of the public spotted the shooter minutes before he fired and pleaded with the authorities to do something. Surely they'd have every roof covered at a rally like this?

What's the perspective from which he was elected in a democratic election?

I've not asked you or anyone else to extend the hand of sympathy to Donald Trump, nor have I sought to defend his previous outbursts.

My comments above were that it isn't acceptable in a democratic election for people to be trying to shoot any candidate, and I praised Joe Biden for his response to the incident, which I believe was genuine. I don't think the point I was making could have been more reasonable.

You were the one who took exception, apparently to the idea that shooting Donald Trump isn't right. In fact you almost condone the action in a saying it but not quite saying it way.

Yes you are correct but in the context that Trump is a pathological liar and also multiple bankrupt taking hundreds of hard working small business families down with him I think it is extremely reasonable to not feel a lot of sympathy for the guy. I certainly feel none whatsoever. He was also quite happy to break all the rules known to man when he lost the presidency. Whilst I do agree that people should not be firing bullets at political candidates if it had hit him I would not have been unhappy to be honest. That's the way I feel as bullets aside the man is a deplorable individual who has been happy to ruin lots of peoples lives. Someone had a go at ruining his and failed. Not right but I have no sympathy for the guy at all. I'd also argue as to whether the USA is really a democratic election. But then that's another entire debate!

Come on, let's not pretend the high-ranking Democrats are morally virtuous and honest. They're just wolves in sheep's clothing.
