    We were schoite last night.

I have been getting my thoughts together today after what seems on paper like a good result but in reality we were just as bad as usual except we had a bit of luck for a change.Tactics were the same and but for a very deflected lucky goal and a disjointed United team that missed chance after chance we would have been trounced.
We had 7 shots to their 30.They hit the woodwork twice, two goal line clearances.
We had one shot on target and one off target.
    Our xG was 0.24.
Our pass accuracy was 76.2% to their 87.5%.

We were running the ball to the corner flag in the final minutes when we are 9 points adrift of safety.
Did anybody see the idiotic back heeler by Florentino 10 yards outside our own penalty area that nearly led to us conceeding?
Its painful and embarassing to watch for free so God only knows what those think who pay to go on the Turf and sit in the freezing cold watching this schoite.

Just me and you then CIB who saw us playing for time in the corner - you’d think we were away from home and a point of champions league qualification.

There is no plan ( untrue - there is one it’s just poor amateur in design )

I can not for the life of me think why others don’t ask why are we so negative - why don’t we shoot -

So may people seem happy to let Parker spout aloud of rubbish about what we are working on - work in progress

All I see is same setup same tactics same mistakes - same end results

He’s taking us down I’m afraid and they seem happy for that to happen - if I’m honest it’s wearing a bit thin with me.

I thought they must be playing for a corner they have practiced after Sonne came on, because playing for time in the corner like you say is mad. Our Norwegian set piece coach probably had a genius way for us to score in that last minute Jokes aside Army I agree on most of your points on here, but I?m not as fed up with everything as you seem to be at the moment. But I do have my doubts that Parker is the man to make us into a competitive PL side. But I?ll leave who to get and at what time to the Yanks. Im also not that disappointed with our owners. It?s a difficult task they are attempting and of course we can be grieved that they have been able to try their luck at this club, but they have invested and not done very much clearly wrong imo.

Whilst our first goal was lucky, the build up was good with Hannibal and Humphries linking well. They showed that we can be a threat.

What happened after the goal is incomprehensible. We gave territory to Man Ewe, defending deep. We allowed the freedom of the Turf, as if the message from the sidelines was to defend a 1-0 lead for the next 80 minutes. Nine times out of ten we have one player 30 metres ahead of midfield who offer no support.

Who dictates that? The players (which I can’t believe) or Parker and the coaches?

We seem on the same wavelength- we can?t all be wrong can we ?

We all see the same things it?s the management who waffles about a young team and it?s ok to lose to good sides - work in progress - we create absolutely sweet fa and we?re expected to just suck it up and get behind the manager.

I agree 100% army. There is a pattern to our play. For certain periods we can trouble the opposition. That tells me that certain players are not that bad. But then something changes. We go on the defensive, we defend deep. There is a massive gap in front of midfield so any quick transition is lost.

That has to be down to Parker and the coaches.

I do not have the time tonight to write an essay on where we are going wrong.

    Tomorrow perhaps?

My biggest single gripe is why do we give the ball away so much?

    Honestly Bt

The reasons are we are static , slow and laboured , every other team is moving to recieve the ball as they try to play as you put it front foot football.

We have a negative drill that stops at the oppositions 18 yard box - in a lot of cases the wide men fail to track backwards.

Basically the whole thing is disjointed and then because we go so deep and there is no real out ball ( we then panic and try playing fancy back heels or stupid flicks ) around our own box and that’s why we concede possession so much .

We also play midfielders at centre back - forwards at left wing and leave our better players on the bench for the first half of the season - other than that all is perfect and Parker loved by many delivers the dross that is WIP
