Not qualified to judge myself. The other day I actually met someone who like me has never seen a single Star Wars film or episode of Star Trek. Until then I thought I was a one off![]()
Interested on peoples thoughts on the films?
My thoughts are that the first one was a poor remake of the original film and the last jedi was one of the worst films I've ever seen.

If you compare them to the others they do seem to be lacking the creativity the other 6 had.
I’m glad the hero’s a woman but I don’t like her characters personally she just seems too angry to be a Jedi and the empire falls in revenge of sith only for some Alian guy to pick up where Sith Lord left off. Wtf
No I’d have sooner had it jump 200 years and had it start with the Jedis teaching padwans on what happened to the empire and then start a new original story
Going the same way as Doctor Who.
Actors parachuted in because of their race or gender with no regard to whether they can act or not.
There's some good actors in the films, the problem is their characters are very poorly written, especially the women.
Rogue One was dark for a Star Wars film with decent story and good characters that fit. It's a shame about the main films so I've not bothered watching the latest film.
Not just the characters it’s the story in general as well, there’s no strong motive behind kylo ren turning evil. Anikin turned bad because of fear of losing his wife why did he turn was it because Luke called his hair cut stupid, no all you got was Vader was ya grandad now look up to him and bang he’s evil. Honestly anyone who’s never seen a Star Wars film would have no idea what was going on, hell Iv seen em all an I had no idea what was going on.
Oh and Luke dying after a projection fight if he saw the future like his dad could in ep 2 why didn’t he get off his fat ass instead of moping around.
