You tried something radically different 59, you advocated overturning the result of the biggest democratic vote this country has ever held. That was radically different, but it just led to a collapse of your vote, as I said it would.
And what on earth is wrong with suit, shirt and tie now, although for some the tie seems to be surplus to requirement, what's wrong with looking serious and respectable, appearances do matter, besides you tried the beards and sandals, that didn't get you very far either.

I think the myth of "serious and respectable" Members of Parliament was shattered once and for all while the nation watched in disbelief at the nonsensical shenanigans being played out in December and January with midnight votes that were getting us nowhere.

Whatever happened to Brexit? You all realise the Germans have taken their bat and ball home and a "No Deal" Brexit is the only possible outcome now.

The Cabal of Conservative and Unionist Cretins currently running this sh-itfest are even considering employing the failed ex- Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot to be our post Brexit Trade Ambassador.

I've just ordered six paddles on eBay, I want to be totally prepared for when we finally go up Sh-it's Creek, and the way Blow Job is going it will probably be sooner rather than later.

Think about it logically, MPs are elected, therefore, they come and go, sometimes very quickly, and they are replaced by other elected MPs. However, the people who work in the various departments do not change very often and can be considered to be in 'jobs for life' --something which is uncommon these days. So guess who is running the country --as is correctly shown in the above drawing.
You really should take a step back from the political side and consider the practical side.
Remember that there are over 170 of these people earn more than £150,000 per annum and that is more than the PM earns and there are many more who are earning more than MPs earn.

So, the clever people are working in the Civil Service whilst the failed actors apply to become MPs so that they can pursue a life on the world's stage, even if only for a short time, something which they are denying to the proper actors who can't even get onto a stage in the West End or the provinces and don't get me started about musicians who are certainly not living in a Land of Hope and Glory as far as they are concerned!

Oh BT, these Permanent Secretaries only stay in one job for 4 years because of the change that the Civil Service themselves asked for in 2004. The OfQal lady, Sally Collier, had been in her post for almost 4 years and she decided to resign and will get a £1 million pension.
Her other oppo, Jonathan Slater was also due to retire in the spring of 2021 and had been in post for almost 4 years so he has taken his retirement some 6 months early and, after over 35 years service will be due a fair screw as a pension.

Did you know that Permanent Secretaries can be sacked from a particular job, however, because of their seniority, they can continue in other good posts on a very large salary? Therefore, as you can see, being a scapegoat at this level can have its compensation unlike Jeff Hendrick, the scapegoat of many Burnley fans, who received no compensation so he moved on.

I think that I have caught up enough, however, if you feel that there is more to learn please enlighten me.

When Nick Clegg lead the liberal democrats, their local candidate was the only candidate to knock on our door. Having spoken with him he impressed me as an honest man who would work for his constituency while he was our member of parliament.
Taking into account I had three grandchildren one year from commencing a university education and the liberal democrats were touting to abolish tuition fees made me consider voting for the liberal democrats. Although I was sceptical of them having any power within the house of commons, I decided to give them my vote.
What a mistake that was as following that election the liberal democrats became second class conservatives completely abandoning their manifesto promises for the sake of being able to say we have some power within the government, which of course they could have had but choose roll over and back the conservative leader which lead to several years of austerity under Cameron & Osbourne, and a substantial increase in tuition fees for my grandchildren.
Listening to the current crop of liberal democrats I do not see any real prospect of them being anywhere near gaining a majority of seats within parliament within the foreseeable future. While Ed Davey may be a good choice of leader, I do not have enough information to judge and it is for members of the liberal democrat party to choose their own leader. I am however very sceptical that should the same situation arise the liberal democrats would do the same and roll over so they may look to some influence in government however tenuous that may be.
As most people do, I learn from my mistakes so I would not consider voting for the liberal democrats in the foreseeable future.
