Prediction League - New Season with new ideas for points scoring.

There are countless PL’s run up and down the country and their rules are the same. Miss your predictions at your choice.

Once again I’ll be in a ‘paying’ league and I missed 5 occasions last season for whatever reason and it cost me as I had a great chance of winning the monthly prize, my fault no one else’s.

Our own Nez the Miller missed out last season through illness when he was in a great position to make an impact but, we never heard him complain. Let it go, if folk drop out because they’ve not posted so be it.

Keep your chin up, Brin. CAM is nothing if not logical and I believe his opinions are offered constructively and with positive intentions.

Just an idea and a late one so one to consider if not for this season maybe next…we should do away with the draws scenario…it would save people forgetting about it and people having to edit posts and brin checking ,I found it a bit restrictive also,maybe that’s my betting interest coming out…so I think we should pick any result we want and no limit…scoring is one point per correct prediction,but can name a “star” or “nap” selection with an insert at side....and if you get that one right you get maybe 3 or even 5 points….I know the joker as been installed and we can still keep that as it’s of single use and for all the points.which I think is a good addition…just a thought that’s all..

Clarkey, I think this is what CAM wanted to do with all games earning a maximum of 1 point, thing is the table becomes too clogged with many on the same score and it becomes boring and stale, hence why I think some pack it in as no headway can be made to break away.

Incentives had to brought in to split the pack so to speak. Will maybe give your suggestion some thought for next season. cheers.
