What are the immediate concerns re it’s current location ? Surely not the dismantling of the Bobby Cox Stand !
hi Scott, not anything about the stand mate, personally think the historical trust would be the correct place for that piece of club history, and it would be properly stored etc and brought out for displays at museums etc and preserved for future generations to view, the trust would also have proper insurance etc in place, but im very happy to go with what the majority think as everyone on here went the extra mile during those dark days,so its important that everybody gets the chance to yes or no the idea

Needs to be somewhere safe, Jim and the team are the best people to take care of it.

Dundee supporters who purchased a brick in the Bobby Cox Stand need to know what is happening to their engraved brick. A couple of months ago I heard a rumour that the bricks in the Bobby Cox and Bob Shankly Stands were to be ground down for aggregate for the new stadium.
I also heard that this is our last season playing at Dens Park.

I purchased two bricks in The Bobby Cox, I did it because the club wanted to raise cash at the time not to have some lasting legacy with a name on display. The day I become emotionally attached to a brick is the day you can (finally) track me down at a home game and put a bullet in the back of my head. I'd be more than happy for my bricks to be recycled if there was any realistic possibility that a new stadium was going to be built - which there isn't.

If that's true, and I'm not saying it isn't, then it's the beginning of the end for the club I reckon. They don't even have planning permission in for this pie in the sky stadium so next season playing in an out of town ground wouldn't be the last. At least three years from now if it was to go ahead - at least.

The fans are drifting away as it is, how many are going to make the journey to Perth to watch the garbage we're being served up on the park? I know you and I would but realistically how many others would? People are already saying on another forum that they're looking at the team selection before going to Dens, those types of people will be lost forever.

Yes, in total agreement that the ball should go to the HT. JM and the rest of the lads/ lasses involved with the HT are doing a great job getting the Trust up and running and flourishing, top effort from them all.

I agree, fans won’t travel up there on a wet Tuesday night, we already have fans ready to look for refunds if kick off times are changed, I’m one of them
