I reckon they'd move the ball, and all the other contents of the stand, before taking out any structural steel from the stand. Also highly unlikely that any 'Campy Nou', as you like to call it, will ever happen. Especially when Dundee fans who don't even live in the city are poised and waiting to object to any planning application.

Needs to be somewhere safe, Jim and the team are the best people to take care of it.

Dundee supporters who purchased a brick in the Bobby Cox Stand need to know what is happening to their engraved brick. A couple of months ago I heard a rumour that the bricks in the Bobby Cox and Bob Shankly Stands were to be ground down for aggregate for the new stadium.
I also heard that this is our last season playing at Dens Park.

I purchased two bricks in The Bobby Cox, I did it because the club wanted to raise cash at the time not to have some lasting legacy with a name on display. The day I become emotionally attached to a brick is the day you can (finally) track me down at a home game and put a bullet in the back of my head. I'd be more than happy for my bricks to be recycled if there was any realistic possibility that a new stadium was going to be built - which there isn't.

No surprise there. Communication by the club has been hopeless for years.
Four years ago I sent an email to the Commercial Department at Dens Park and I never received a reply.
