Let's face it. KC has been stripped of the captaincy in a move to sell tickets and make it more awkward for Macca to leave.

You've just made this up. Here's his own manager at Torquay describing him as "one of the best centre-halves I've worked with" when giving him a new contract - https://torquayunited.com/kyle-cameron-signs-new-deal/.

Might start an official NCM fact checking service.

I know langstaff is under contract but he can play at another level if he wishes. Or at least earn more money. So his acceptance of captaincy and his comments seem to imply he's more than happy with everything at the club. Including the management. Yes, he could take the role , bide his time, leave when the times right. Or he could have said behind the scenes that he's not happy, the club have made wrong turns since Williams left and he wishes to move on and let notts have the money he would generate. Or he could have an agent or a mate demanding he move ASAP to protect his career. And make life difficult for everyone concerned. However, it seems that he's been happy with everything the club has been doing since Williams, and sees success as still possible with us. Even with a bt engineer leading the way. Maybe I trust a player who sees training and coaching methods daily, a little more than a fan on here, no matter how many matches he watches home and away. To me it seems personal from durhampie , the bt engineer will always be wrong man for us. Players clearly aren't saying that though are they. Langstaff has clearly said how he feels, I know words may mean nothing at times but he's in a really good position where he could make serious demands if he wasn't happy with things . Maybe it's time to see how pre season goes and then the start of the season too. I'm not expecting Maynard to turn into an allardyce type and hit top levels but I'm prepared to give him a chance. Seems the players are making that choice too. I look forward to durhampie version .

You can think what you like, i think he is useless and out of his depth.. He may go on to prove me wrong, but i doubt it..

Yes, once, in the play-off game. Because he'd been out injured and they had a settled centre back pairing but were struggling for fit wide options and Gary Johnson thought, rightly as it turned out, that playing Cameron there would cause problems for our rather small right-sided defensive pairing of DKE and Brindley.

But it was very much a one-off, as with his odd appearance at left back. He was a centre back coming through at Newcastle, when out on loan, at Torquay, and now at Notts. To suggest we moved him there is, as I said, completely made up.

    Good idea J.
Somehow don't think you will be able to find enough time though.

Good news. He'll be a good Captain, and it'll be a little bit harder to leave.

"NCM Verified" and it had better be better than "BBC Verified"

Said it several times already, Macca will not leave this season. The captaincy is not a factor in him staying, the bloke is as honest as the day is long and is returning the faith we have in him (be gone next season though).
