    Yes another Patterson would fit perfectly. Or a youngish goalkeeper who has had a good education at a premier league academy who has been on loan to league one/two teams and has been released from their parent club and is looking to establish themselves as a number one somewhere.

    Going back to the thread topic I think this is another excellent signing and with League One experience as well Bedeau is still young enough to establish himself as a first team regular and help us try to get to that level. This is what we want players who are able to take us to the next level but also when we do get there are able to hold our own. So having some league one experience is a positive.

    I reckon we may even have gone one better with the signing of Bass.

    You can be physical without being a giant, Bremner and Giles were small and weren’t shrinking violets and the likes of Carlin and Wise were very physical. If you are good enough you are tall enough imo.
