We must all remember that if this has come from Evans it will be pure conjecture

According to a reliable source it’s WHU and Manchester Cheaty that are showing real interest

If true then Three little words…..SELL ON CLAUSE

    ????
Yes it is. That’s where I got it from

The reason I didn’t post a link is because it originated from a subscription only website. Others have copied it so good luck to them

If these teams know about him, surely he must have been on other teams radar, why didnt they sign him instead of little old Rotherham?

A guy what comes in our local, who does the local non league scene, told me a while ago that he was signing for us, but because of his age i just thought that he was the young goalie we were after.

If he went to WHU or MC soon, is it the case that we’d get the usual peanuts for him? Trouble is, going to a place like that is a big gamble given the vastly reduced chances of ever getting a sniff of first team football - still, the wages alone would possibly mean retirement in his early 20s…..

Guys a reality check is needed on what is going off here.
Willie Mckay (well known agent) and his son Mark Mckay also an agent have set up their own football academy at the site of their former racing stables just outside Bawtry see

Doncaster City is the team they have set up to expose their players to men's football. Google Doncaster City they are throwing money at the team to get them up the pyramid.
Now no Premier league club is going to sign someone from Doncaster City, so Willie needs a club to take this lad on, him and Evo go back a long way, so step forward RUFC. The player has been with us a matter of weeks and suddenly journalist Alan Nixon, ( another Willie McKay contact) is touting him for a move to West Ham or Man City.
Doncaster City are at step 7 in the Central Midlands Premier Alliance League North. Dinnington Town currently share top spot with Donny if you are interested. I have seen the lad play and he looks a good prospect at step 7, he is a big strong lad for his age, but how will he cope with other lads at pro clubs.
So to sum up I am sceptical is this just a publicity stunt for Willie's academy or a genuine attempt to get a good prospect to a top club and everyone make some money along the way.

Thanks HPR Man - some useful inside information there I have to say I’d never even heard of Doncaster City before this

Cheers for that pal. All makes perfect sense in that portrayal which, is probably the truth.

Really useful context, I must admit I struggle to believe most things that Evans says
