Worst food ever at a football ground - quality or cost

It's got to be the pie I had at Mansfield in 2016. I think they'd heated it up about 4 times over the previous few weeks. Rock hard, burnt and it was like eating jerky.

I have no idea what it cost though.

Worst food I ever had was at Meadow Lane. I bought a pie and it was still frozen although this was about 20 years ago. I took it back and the guy said he would put it in the warmer and to come back in 20 minutes. Jesus wept. Worst here was 'hot' chips at the Gabba approx $7 ( 3.50 in sterling) for a tiny portion of cold stale crap that was a breach of the description of hot chips.

I had a really bad 'burger' at the back of the Kop during the Port Vale game. I wanted a burger but they'd run out so offered some other, meat, type product in a bun. The meat was cold, tasteless and served up on a dry bun, no sauce of any kind and no onions, very disappointing.

All of the cremated Sausage Rolls sold at the kiosks behind the the Pavis stand, disgusting. What a rip off for £4.50. I wonder if Joe Palmer would eat that crap..

Question, do we run our own catering or is it an outside catering company?

It wasn't at a football ground, but I had a disgusting burger at Headingley cricket ground. It was like the cheapest of supermarket burgers, thin, gristly, greasy and unpleasant tasting. Overpriced of course. At least it was cooked and hot.

Food at football stadiums usually follows the proverb fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Not making that mistake again. The food at The Nest is good quality.
