    Predictions 25-26

Okay, I suspect I'm on a hiding to nothing here but I'm going to ask anyway. What are your predictions for the coming season? No fee, no prize, no commitment, just a bit of light fun!
We've seen enough now to get an idea how the season pans out, though in the Alex's case it may be said that they are predictably unpredictable.
    So
    Champions: MK Dons
    Promoted: Swindon, Chesterfield, Grimsby
    Alex: 8th
    Relegated: Accrington, Newport.
    Alex Leading scorer: March
    Player of Season: Hutchinson
    Breakthrough: Agius
    Most promising youngster: Armstrong

    Well? What do you think?

I think Swindon will be champions. They looked very good. Promotion may well see Chesterfield and MK go up. The other spot could go to Gillingham.
I agree about the Alex finishing 8th although play offs not beyond us. But that relies on the season not crumbling in January. Accrington have a good chance of dropping and I wouldn't rule Shrewsbury out.

    Player of the season March
    Breakthrough player Lunt
    Most promising youngster Moore

Slightly early to predict maybe but I'll have a go.
    Champs, Swindon.
    Automatics, MK Don's and Grimsby.
4-7, Gillingham, Walsall, Crewe and Notts County.
    Relegated, Accrington and Newport.
    Player of the season, Hutchinson.
Breakthrough player of the season, Lunt.
Most promising youngster, Armstrong. If not this season definitely the next.

I do think this is VERY early, as managers always say, takes 10 games to see where you are and we've had 7, so who knows what I'll think at Christmas.
At this stage Swindon could well end up top, automatics Walsall and Chesterfield, play offs Gillingham, Grimsby Franchise FC and Crewe (surely we'll last a season this time)
    Relegated Accrington and Newport
    Player of the season, O'Reilly
    Breakthrough Lunt
    Youngster Moore

It is early but more than 1/7th of the season has already gone!!!!!. When contrasting the first 4 games with the last 2 for the Alex, who knows which Crewe Alex will be around all season! So difficult to predict anyway but who says things have to be easy😉.

Thing is I'm going away for 3 weeks after Barnet so thought I'd get it going.

I did a pre season one

Oldham, , Walsall, MK Dons, Swindon (dark horse), Bristol Rovers, Gillingham, Cambridge United and Notts County. Crewe I am afraid were 9th....

    So Swindon Champions
    Walsall, Gillingham
    Then Cambridge win at Wembley

Down Accrington and yes I am afraid Newport.

Player of the season - March
    Breakthrough - Lunt
    Youngster - No ide

    Champions - Walsall
Promoted - Gillingham and Swindon (current top three). Salford might just be a surprise package but the two I mention I go for on spending power in January if they?re doing well.
    Relegated - Accrington and Oldham
Player of the season - O Reilly
    Top scorer - March
Breakthrough - Lunt but him and Agius close for young player of the season. I would also like to think Booth would be up there but that?s a question mark, I hope so.
Youngster - Outside of the above three which to me are all youngsters then I?m not sure anyone is going to get into the side with the options we currently have.
