Dont really understand this comment. Carney has been a demonstration of strength, moving away from Americas grip and agreeing a trade deal with China. He has repeatedly denounced Trump.

My view is that he?s been quite weak with Trump considering all the crap and a bordering country. Many Canadians have said the same thing. Your be telling me next Starmer has been firm with Trump too but for me he?s been incredibly weak and should have demanded an apology but oh God no! Liberals are like the Greens and completely wet lettuces. Actually that fruit cake who runs the Greens is a nutter like Corbyn and both want half the world to enter and for Trident to be dismantled. In life you stand up to a bully and be a no nonsense country - Poland for example!

You are missing a lot of information around Carney. His speech at Davos was very strong. The guy is unwavering: Canada is moving away from America and it has got the markets worried. He also handed Trumps nonsense about them becoming a US state firmly and impeccably.

The thought of Trump actually apologising for anything or acknowledging that he was wrong about something is laughable. Lots of truth in his TACO moniker but he won't do that!
