Like you, I’m glad people are coming out and telling their stories. The football industry is a particularly vile industry, it cares about nothing but itself. It has supported brutal dictators, endorsed large multi-national corporations and indulged in some financial crookery up there with any mafia type group. Now this is its nadir.

It will be interesting to see home much if anything comes out from other sports in the UK, or indeed football in other countries. Let’s see if this is a football problem or a UK problem or both.
Time is a great healer mate and being part of the solution helps to, the victims groups are great folk to be around, incredibly supportive and I try to do what I can, but the fact is silence is what the abusers rely on, even today the shame of this keeps the victims silent and the abusers safe, these revelations will drag many out of their comfort zones.
