Every club exposed in this investigation must be punished appropriately, let's hope it's more than a monetary punishment which the likes of Chelsea will pay off easily.
so you are now accusing me of calling you rolf? More bull sh7t. Another convenient mantra for you.

My brother committed suicide 26 years ago, I found him hanging in his room, he was 19 years old and used his Rangers scarf to do it. He was abused as a child, I won't go into anymore details as it's too painful.

I have worked with the victims groups since and still do here in Perth, I find it hard to put into words how I feel about these players coming out and telling their story, relief, happiness, I don't know, but what I do know is I won't stop talking about it because some nomark on the internet thinks he is the moral compass.

Mog, you should read that again, your anger has got the better of you and you are now seeing things that are not there.

For the record you have never used the Rolf insult.

So eloquently put Brother Oz. I’m shuddering sitting here reading your post as I can only ponder what that experience would do to you and your extended family. By comparison I’ve had a relatively comfortable life so it brings it home when someone speaks candidly about such an experience

Like you, I’m glad people are coming out and telling their stories. The football industry is a particularly vile industry, it cares about nothing but itself. It has supported brutal dictators, endorsed large multi-national corporations and indulged in some financial crookery up there with any mafia type group. Now this is its nadir.

It will be interesting to see home much if anything comes out from other sports in the UK, or indeed football in other countries. Let’s see if this is a football problem or a UK problem or both.

Where have I questioned your experience of child abuse? You questioned mine without knowing anything. My ex misses attempted suicide twice after being abused by uncle from the age of 5. She took the brave step years later of talking to the police but her own family didn't back her up, the case fell through. I have also worked in child protection. Indeed I was involved in lobbying with my employer at the time Barnardo's for the introduction of a *** offenders register but the Thatcher government always refused one saying it wasn't needed. There were no enhanced disclosuire checks, most employers didn't have child protection policies, the police didn't take it seriously in most instances and society didn't understand the level of psychological damage to the victims. Indeed when abuse victims did start to come forward in bigger numbers in late 80s early 90s their was a backlash with accusations of 'false memory syndrome' We could go right back Freud withdrawing his paper that found widespread abuse in Austrian middle class society then creating the mother fantasy, setting back society's consciousness over abuse by some 100 years. It wasn't until 1997 we finally got a *** offenders register from the incoming Labour government.

Its horrible what happened in your family. You should know better then with some of your posts on here.

Time is a great healer mate and being part of the solution helps to, the victims groups are great folk to be around, incredibly supportive and I try to do what I can, but the fact is silence is what the abusers rely on, even today the shame of this keeps the victims silent and the abusers safe, these revelations will drag many out of their comfort zones.

Perhaps its the way you have interpreted my posts, you seem to think every Rangers fan sees this issue as a stick to beat celtc with.

The celtc issue has never really been put to bed, there are many questions left unanswered, you mentioned Kelly and he is one question, there are more, and I don't believe for one second there aren't more clubs involved, be it senior or amateur there simply has to be more involved, my experience with victims groups would back this belief.

I can relate to your story, its sadly a common one, I apologize for any offence taken.

It is far, far too late for you on this thread. A serious subject you claim to uave personal experience of yet still cannot resist the point-scoring mentality. It really does speak volumes about you and the other two rats

Hard to believe a protestant Rangers fan was abused as a child by a catholic priest, which appears to be the story being peddled here.

Also hard to believe someone who's brother went through such a terrible ordeal would be banned from this forum for Jimmy Saville & Jim Torbett jokes
