As a thread it's a good read (raging barely able to contain his joy at coming second and looking to building on Corbyn's success), but check out post 51 where some loony sets out his choices for next Labour leader as Chuka Umuana and Rebecca Long-Bailey - a very talented young lady.

Yikes, he likes (liked?) Richard Burgon as well.

Their new Shadow Chancellor Anneliese Dodds doesn't look like much of a prize either.

Mind you, the Tories aren't much better.

I think it's safe to say that the brightest and best don't tend to go into politics anymore.
