Bedouin, Arab Christians, Druze, Syriac Christians, Arameans, Assyrians, Copts, Samaritans, Armenians, Circassians, Ethnic Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians, immigrants from the former Soviet Union, BaháʼÃ*s, Vietnamese, ( Most of them came to Israel in between 1976 and 1979, after prime minister Menachem Begin authorized their admission to Israel and granted them political asylum.)
Some naturalized foreign workers and their children born in Israel, predominantly from the Philippines, Nepal, Nigeria, Senegal, Romania, China, Cyprus, Thailand, and South America (mainly Colombia). 100–200 refugees from Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraqi Kurdistan, and North Korea were absorbed in Israel as refugees. Most of them were also given Israeli resident status, and currently reside in Israel.
