Turkish media calls arrest of Israeli couple a 'disgrace'

Several Turkish media outlets and journalists on Wednesday slammed Turkish authorities for the arrest of an Israeli couple held on suspicion of espionage for photographing the Istanbul mansion of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Fatih Altaylı, who in the past was considered a strong supporter of the Turkish leader, wrote that the detention of Mordy and Natali Oknin was "wrong and a disgrace."
"It's not even a joke. It is a disgrace," he wrote. "To arrest tourists who visited the television tower in Istanbul and took photos as is done all over the world. For God's sake don't make people ridicule us."

It is ridiculous Balan, and so is Johnson's refusal to help get Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe out of Iran.

Even so now their are 'codes' ,which can be found inside. For example ,the Shabat,'' six days shall shall you work etc'' But if we continue, And on the seventh day God finished His work .In this sentence in Genisis 2, 1 And the heaven and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God finished His work. Nothing you see about all that ! Heaven and earth ,seventh day ? So what?

But in Hebrew the word ISRAEL is given. It is after 6 letters ,the seventh is ,spelling Israel. ( ישראל )....

    (יוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁ (י. (the sixth day )

Why in this book of 'hunkem -bunkem' are these codes?

    ....... .

This stuff is mind blowing!! Who did this ? What level of intelligence?

So all this, to the religious is very important to them.
(Note ,they did not find stuff like this until we had computers.)
to the religious yes - of course it would be important Balam - but then, I believe you have the (50%) Hiloni/Secular segment of the population perhaps keeping the most basic of traditions ?

Hebrew..it certainly is an interesting Old langiuage - many meanings, translations, numbers calculations...messages and the ideas they present, that for many are the daily staff (stuff) of life

And the glory of LORD JEHOVAH dwelt on the mountain of Sinai and a cloud covered it six days, and LORD JEHOVAH called Moshe on the seventh day from within the cloud.

though seems odd to me that so great an examination is spent looking for clue's in a book ("Penned" also has more than one meaning) - but the obvious signs that surround us (in the natural) are neglected.... .

That is an understatement, it's terrible how the UK has turned it's back on her and her husband.

It is greater than that, the importance of Judaism's sacred texts extends far beyond their religious significance. These ancient documents embody not only Judaism's religious precepts, but also the historical, cultural and social heritage of the Jewish people.
....and so so so much more.

I wonder if Mr Pace reads Turfites Talk?

The LDS (Mormons) say this about the name Jehovah.
The covenant or proper name of the God of Israel…. Jehovah is the premortal Jesus Christ and came to earth being born of Mary.

I do not study these things but, one name of God is Jehovah, it is from the hebrew יְהוָה
but if I take the past ,present and future an example .

    past - was = ה י ה
    present -is = ה ו א
    future will be = י ה י ה
    we get - יְ ה וָ ה
so God is all the past ,present and future
the four Hebrew letters usually transliterated YHWH, Yahweh, or JHVH, Jehovah, that form a biblical proper name of God.

So now we have the name of God being the past, present and future.

Latin-speaking Christian scholars replaced the Y (which does not exist in Latin) with an I or a J (the latter of which exists in Latin as a variant form of I). Thus, the tetragrammaton became the artificial Latinized name Jehovah (JeHoWaH). ( Hope what I post comes out ok?)

She's being held by the Mad Mullahs of Tehran, she's a pawn in their political game, there are no guarantees she'll be released however our government abases itself. I find it very odd that her captors and torturers are exonerated from all blame and her continuing incarceration is somehow all the fault of our Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and the Foreign Office. But that's the Alice in Wonderland world we live in nowadays.

Trouble is sinkov the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and the Foreign Office have all promised to get her released.

As usual, this cabal of Cabinet Minister Conservative and Unionist Cretins led by a blonde-haired, grinning, smirking, clueless clown aided and abetted by their quisling sidekick Kier Starmer promises are not worth a wet fart.

Bennett, Lapid: Dear Oknins, welcome home!

Safe in their central Israel home, couple thanks prime minister, foreign minister after spending almost two weeks in Turkish prison; Bennett: We're so happy that you've arrived safely

Mordy Oknin: "We are fine, a little excited about everything that has happened in the country. Everyone has taken on the task of getting us out of this thing. All thanks to you, to the government, to Yair Lapid the foreign minister, and to the honorable president."

Natali Oknin: "Mr. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, we want to tell you from the bottom of our hearts, we're not taking what you did for granted. You were by our side. I heard that [Lapid] spoke to my family every day, and also the prime minister. You spoke to my family, you spoke to my sisters, my brother, my daughter Shiraz, everyone. I heard that the whole government rallied behind us… We are grateful. We are strong thanks to you."
